Police Reports generated by the Stockbridge Police Department may or may not be public record. In most cases copies of police reports will be provided to interested parties (i.e. victims, defendants) at no cost. Often at least some portion of the report may need to be redacted. Because of the complications involved with the public record law and the CORI statute each request needs to be reviewed on its own merits.

Requests for reports will be processed Monday through Friday during normal business hours. We suggest that you call first to see if the report is available, if there is a fee, whether or not a written request will be required, and to obtain a time line for us to provide the requested report to you.
